BRANFORD, CT —In April, Branford real estate agent Lauren Freedman was named number one Coldwell Banker Realty agent in Connecticut and Westchester County, New York.
Now, she’s been named No. 20 on the list of the Top 250 real estate agents in the U.S. based on achieving 277.8 closed transaction sides totaling $81,139,306 in 2020, according to the 2021 REAL Trends The Thousand report published in The Wall Street Journal.
The list notes Freedman is within “the top one-tenth of 1% of more than 1.4 million licensed Realtors nationwide.”
“With this high ranking, Lauren has proven that she is among the top tier of real estate professionals, not only in her Connecticut community but in the entire United States of America. This is an outstanding achievement that recognizes the unparalleled expertise and work ethic that Lauren offers each of her home buyer and seller clients. I am pleased to congratulate Lauren on this momentous recognition,” said Joe Valvano, president of Coldwell Banker Realty in Connecticut and Westchester County, New York.
The REAL Trends The Thousand ranking consists of all real estate agents and teams throughout the United States who took part in residential real estate transactions in 2020. The individual rankings are divided into two top 250 categories, based on closed transaction sides and closed sales volume. To qualify, an individual agent had to close at least 50 transaction sides or $20 million in sales volume in 2020. For real estate teams, the minimum was 75 transaction sides or $30 million in closed sales volume. Teams are ranked by closed transaction sides and closed sales volume, divided by the sizes small, medium, large and mega.
Freedman earned numerous honors for her success in 2020. She was the No. 1 agent at Coldwell Banker Realty in Connecticut and Westchester County, New York, based on gross commission income and total units sold. Freedman was recognized with the Coldwell Banker Realty International Society of Excellence award, the highest honor in the company presented to less than half of the top 1% of approximately 96,000 Coldwell Banker Realty agents internationally.
