
TAMPA, FL — Cool Zoo will be providing entertainment in the form of exotic wildlife at the Tampa Home and Garden Show Saturday and Sunday at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S. Franklin St., Tampa.
Cool Zoo will present the Tampa community with one-of-a-kind, animal experiences for pet lovers and exotic hobbyists alike. Headlining the exhibit is Cool Zoo’s signature attraction, The Hermit Crab Adoption Center by Mister Crabs.
The educational experience is free for all attendees and includes the opportunity to observe and touch rare and famous hermit crabs from around the globe. Cool Zoo features the world’s largest hermit crab sanctuary and, through its efforts, have rescued thousands of crabs from death.
Guests will have the option to adopt rescued hermit crabs as well as purchase travel companion kits, shells, hermit crab food and accessories.
“It’s an honor to provide the Tampa community with the opportunity to receive a hands-on education on these beautiful creatures. We hope that through our efforts, people will have a newfound appreciation for these amazing animals,” said Jim DeBerry, CEO of Cool Zoo.
The Tampa Home & Garden Show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
It will feature builders, contractors, kitchens, bathroom and garden displays, landscapers, pools, spas, security systems, garage doors, driveways, windows, solar technology and other home improvement resources.
Special guest Warren Caterson, a writer and foodie who has studied at the Southeast Institute of Culinary Arts, will present a variety of dishes to create for every palate and budget.
Visitors will have an opportunity to speak directly with experts and receive advice and inspiration for their home improvement projects.
