One of the biggest aspects of Dragon Quest Builders 2 is the ability to create a variety of rooms using recipes. They can come in all shapes and sizes, but specific rooms require certain items to be inside. You can add bedrooms, bathrooms, gardens, and even a slew of creepy rooms.
You do have to keep in mind that when a room asks for a generic item, such as a bed, for example, you can use any type of bed to fulfill that room’s need. These room recipes can be used to complete a quest or personalize your home on the Isle of Awakening!
How To Build A Room
If you want to build any sort of room all you usually need are walls that are two blocks high and a Door. The rooms can be anywhere from four squares, up to 150 squares, and anything bigger or smaller than this will not register as a room.
However, there are exceptions to this as you can also make fields using a Scarecrow, or a Plaza which requires you to add a Doormat in place of a Door. Rooms can also be one block high if the door you use is a Wooden Gate, Picket Gate, or a Saloon Door. A room can be created by following a recipe, which can be found in the Builderpedia.
The different categories that the room recipes fall into are as follows:
- Bedrooms
- Private Bedrooms
- Bathrooms
- Toilets
- Changing Rooms
- Kitchen
- Bars
- Gardens
- Skilled Labor
- Social Areas
- Museums
- Creepy Rooms
